In 2016, Soylent was invited by artist and in-house flavor scientist Sean Raspet to co-create a booth at the Frieze Art Fair in New York. People weren't sure if we were there as an art project or a brand activation – which was kind of the point.

We lined the edges of the space with fully stocked fridges of our stark white bottles, offering only one flavor to the masses who visited the booth. Our restocking supplies sat stacked on a slowly shrinking pallet sitting right in front of our booth, blurring the lines between form and function even further.
Sean developed an algae based nutrient paste that was also served up in mylar pouches I designed as well. Nhu Duong designed custom jumpsuits for the exhibit, completing the look for our futuristic-trade-show-refreshment-activation-art-exhibit.
